Before selecting a statistic that interested me, I first needed to pick one of the three following magazines: Spider Magazine, Cricket Magazine or UtneReader. My subject for the statistic, the illustration style & content had to be appropriate for the magazine. I chose to illustrate for Cricket Magazine. 

This was my opportunity to be creative in designing and visually narrating a scene appropriate for the specified reading audience. This illustration was allowed to be created realistically, abstractly, humorously, or seriously.
